SPOT grant stop 2021

As of 6 October 2021 until the end of the year 2021 we will no longer be able to accept applications for SPOT grants, because its ceiling of the SPOT budget has now been reached.

Despite the Corona situation many applications for documentation and presentations at home and abroad have been submitted this year. This has been a great boost for the (inter)national visibility of artists from The Hague. Like in previous years, more artists applied at the beginning of the year (probably the result of subsidy stops in previous years), resulting in a premature 'exhaustion' of the available grant budget.
Next year we want to introduce a different system so that the budget will be distributed and allocated more evenly over the year.

New applications for SPOT grants can be submitted as of 1 January 2022.
For the SPOT tentoonstellingssubsidie / exhibition grant this means that the starting date of the exhibition should be 1 February 2022 at the earliest.
