Berry Holslag, 2018
Jan van Nassauschool, Zaanstraat 25, The Hague
Location: Jan van Nassauschool, Zaanstraat 25, The Hague
Unveiling: 1 February 2018
by the mayor of The Hague, Pauline Krikke
For the entrance hall of the Jan van Nassauschool the artist Berry Holslag made two ceramic sculptures: a boy holding a globe and a girl with a parrot. The parrot is a reference to the relief in the staircase of the old school building (also by Berry Holslag).
The artwork is made possible by the City of The Hague through the so-called Percent for Art program for public art commissions. Stroom Den Haag was the advisor for and coordinator of the project.
