The small building by Acconci Stuido is shaped like a semi-transparant globe made of synthetic fibre, into which all the furniture has been fitted in an ingenious way. The globe is suspended several meters above the ground, thus enabling the guard to watch over the bicycles which have been parked on a bicycle path which floats above the ground. The bicycle path meanders around the trees and the guard house, as if it is orbiting a planet. Parking your bicycle near the swimmingpool, the bowling alley and the party center in the Zuiderpark could very well become a special attraction in itself.
