Dirk Dijkstra - Jumping Fountains

Dijkstra designed a program for a jumping fountain. The spouting water moves over the whole length of the pond in a sequence of jumps that appear and then disappear. Due to the large quantity of water that is displaced, this theatrical performance has the beneficial side effect of improving the quality of the water.
