From 2010 through 2012, the project Orban Space: The Work & Practice of Luc Deleu - T.O.P. Office is being developed. The project investigates and presents the practice and work of the Antwerp-based architect, artist, and urbanist Luc Deleu. Since 1970, he has worked on a diverse yet coherent body of work, including urban plans, projects, design studies, theoretical models, sculptures, and monumental installations. A deep concern for the decline of public space and a break from the conservative approach to dealing with that space form a continuous thread throughout his work.

The project Orban Space: The Work and Practice of Luc Deleu - T.O.P. Office is a collaboration between Wouter Davidts (VU Amsterdam), Luc Deleu - T.O.P. Office, Stroom Den Haag, and Valiz publishers and cultural projects.

The project consists of an exhibition at Stroom Den Haag (22 April - 8 July, 2012) and a publication to be released by Valiz. For this purpose, a (not yet public) website has been developed for Deleu's complete work archive, and in March 2011, an international 5-day masterclass was organized for students from various disciplines and the authors contributing to the publication. The publication is edited by Wouter Davidts, Guy Châtel, and Stefaan Vervoort. Contributing authors include: Maarten Delbeke, Aglaia Konrad, Hugh Campbell, Kersten Geers, Felicity Scott, John Macarthur, Marjolijn Dijkman, Guy Châtel, Metahaven (Vinca Kruk/Daniel van der Velden), Stefaan Vervoort, Manfred Pernice, Wouter Davidts, Luc Deleu, and UP (Koenraad Dedobbeleer/Kris Kimpe).
