Pulchri Studio invites artists who explore the rich and multidimensional concept of memory, and how it intersects with personal, collective, and urban experiences that shape and reshape The Hague.

Artists are encouraged to submit existing works that interpret memory through a broad and poetic lens — including notions such as: conservation, fossil, oblivion, souvenir, specimen, archive, amulet, nostalgia, documentation, perpetuity, legacy, footprint, trace, collection, monument, record, and more. Works can approach these concepts literally or metaphorically.

All mediums are welcome: painting, video, installation, sculpture, performance, etc. The exhibition values a diversity of voices, identities, and artistic approaches, and aims to foster intergenerational dialogue and plural perspectives.

Who Can Apply?
Artists and art collectives currently based in The Hague (of any nationality).
