Cosmos was published on the occasion of the similar titled exhibition at Teylers Museum, Haarlem (February 14th – June 29th 2025). The exhibition explored our changing relationship with the stars. The publication offers an intriguing dialogue between (scientific) illustrations, instruments and astrophotography from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and contemporary artworks. It demonstrates how imagination - both in art and science - drives our cosmological awareness and helps us grasp the vast, infinite story of the universe.
