Leaky Walks offers an overview of Isolde Venrooy´s performative walks, “an essential component to my life and my artistic practice. I walk to connect, disconnect and, also, to share. The slowness of walking is a vital ingredient to shift how we encounter the familiar. With this book, I invite you to walk alongside me and sense the complexities of our surroundings, to connect presence to the present, and to initiate conversations on our position in the spaces we provisionally inhabit (however, through our activities we have impacted those spaces irremediably)”
