Outer Nørrebro Culture Bureau (YNKB) was a Danish artists group based in outer Nørrebro, a former working-class neighborhood in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is home to a large percentage of immigrants. The group’s practice was based on the striving for interaction with that whatever its participants would meet during their journey through the neighborhood. YKNB has hosted events including video/film screenings, lectures, debates, and concerts. Its space was also used for meetings and swopshop sessions. YNKB participated in, for example: Tangible Exchange (Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, in San Jose, Costa Rica, 2003); Utopia Station (Martha Rosler's pavillion, Venice Biennale, 2003); The Prague Biennial 1 (2003); and Kontoret for Jordforbindelse (The Museum of Contemporary Art, Roskilde, Denmark, 2004). This stenciled zine was developed in a period when YNKB was in its first phase of establishment, containing a.o. a draft of their manifest.
