Two brochures published for the exhibition of the same name in the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam. The reason was the carte blanche to realize an exhibition, which Wenzel had won after defeating then museum director Deirdre Carasso in a boxing match. Wenzel used the space to investigate the role of the artist and the autonomy of art - which, according to her, is too often used for a political and social agenda. The exhibition was about the literal and figurative fight against power structures and the need to question and break through them. The brochure 'The Fight' is an edited and shortened version of a conversation between Anne Wenzel, Deirdre Carasso and curator Selen Ansen. The brochure 'Carte Blanche' offers a map and explanation of the exhibition by Anne Wenzel.
