PICPUS is an A6-format (sometimes A5) arts quarterly that was founded by Charles Asprey and Simon Grant over lunch in London, 2009. The contents of each issue is arbitrary with an emphasis on good writing on a wide range of art historical and cultural topics. PICPUS is available for free via the editors' global network of specialist bookshops and arts venues. PICPUS 28 by guest editor Rosie Head, is devoted to texts, dating from the height of Industrial Revolution upto 2023, that reveal a history of ideas and ecological awareness that could have shaped politics if they had not so often been ignored or suppressed by prevailing political, industrial an institutional powers".
