PALAIS magazine issue #29 is devoted to the exhibition City Prince/sses, presented from 21 June to 8 September 2019. Paris’s Palais de Tokyo traveled to five mega-cities – Dhaka, Lagos, Manila, Mexico City and Tehran – in search of artists, fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians, DJs, tattoo artists, experimenters who push the boundaries of contemporary art with outrageous and/or outsized works. City Prince/sses was a mega-exhibition of wild and wonderful installations that filed its vast galleries, creating an imaginary city, multiple and complex, open, messy, thundering and creative.
