Catalog for the exhibition at the Zollverein coking plant in Essen, as part of the finale of the International Building Exhibition Emscher Park (IBA), May 13th to September 13th, 1999. The aim was to combine scientific and artistic perspectives on the “culture and nature of energy”. The exhibition was presented in the former coking plant, theplace where energy was generated. It's an adventurous journey into the interior of a coking plant. The gigantic industrial facility became part of the exhibition.
