There is in the visual arts a tendency to emphasize the theoretical basis of a work of art rather than the process of its creation. Until now technology has only been allowed to play part in the visual arts if previously established artistic demands were met. In (1972) various people and groups in the Netherlands were involved in projects that combine both aspects. Their work is not directed towards arriving at a clear-cut final result. That what is concretized serves primarily as an illustration of an open research .
