Various articles regarding the development of the Norfolk site in the port of Scheveningen. Usually, construction in the city is done with the long term in mind. This entails long planning procedures. In the meantime, sites lie fallow and buildings stand empty. Can that interim be better utilized? Can temporary construction as we see on the beach be a source of inspiration for this? And what could this mean for the future of this city? This formed the starting point for the brief design study. 'In the Meantime' as part of the Power Project 'The Sea, the Beach and the Harbour'. Four architectural firms (Geurst & Schulze Architecten, N2 Architekten, RAL 2005 Architecten and VenhoevenCS Architecten) considered the issue of building for the temporary. The port of Scheveningen was chosen as the test location.
