This publication records the project Eperiment Marathon, which was comprised of public events and a large exhibition that took place at the Reykjavik Art Museum, 2008 and the Serpentine Gallery, London, 2007. Curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Olafur Eliasson., Julia Peyton-Jones and Sally Tallant. The project featured experiments performed by leading artists, architects, and scientists. Moving beyond the simple binary of success/failure, the experiments explored ideas of time, space, and of reality through models, vibrations, and perception, investigating Eliasson's assertion that "what we have in common is that we are different." This bringing together of different disciplines was intended to "make junctions."
