A collection of articles about Calin Dan, a Romanian-born artist, art journalist, freelance curator, and cultural manager. He began his career at the Soros Foundation in Romania, and has been involved in various cross-media projects, both independently and as part of the art collective subREAL. He developed multimedia projects with a.o. V2 Lab for Unstable Media in Rotterdam and Lost Boys Interactive in Amsterdam, wrote about internet-related topics; and served as a consultant and instructor. Later on he got more and more engaged in independent research into the interaction between citizens and their living environment—the “Emotional Architecture”—for which he has also developed a project for Stroom The Hague.
