The exhibition 'Soft City' at Stroom showed the special way in which artists depict the mental, psychological and socio-economic consequences of the way people spatially organize themselves or allow themselves to be organised. The book and the exhibition 'Belgrade-The Hague' were created following a workshop in Belgrade (April 21 - May 5, 2001), and one in The Hague (February 6-13, 2003). Both workshops were organized by the Design Academy Eindhoven, Department of Public Space, the first in collaboration with Stealth Group, the second in collaboration with Stroom.
