Ocnophilia is an independent artist book that was published alongside the animation film with the same title. During a residency in the tiny village of Kolderveen through Fonds BKVB Bovenkerk developed a cyclus of drawings based on her fascination for alienating architecture and for psychological horror movies that deal with the connection between the mind and the body, (sexually) transmittable infections, parasitism and processes of transformation. The animation film is made out of this drawings, and the book is subsequently based on the film, a kind of wordless narrative.
