The exhibition 'History of Art, The' from May to July, 2010 at the David Roberts Art Foundation in London, looked at the symbolic transactions, institutional protocols and historiographic disconnections between contemporary art and the discourse of art history. artists involved were - amongst many - Alon Levin, Navid Nuur, Luc Deleu, Jonas Staal, Hans van Houwelingen, Pavel Büchler, Nina Beier & Marie Lund, Benoît Maire, Agency, Jill Magid, Etienne Chambaud, Alison Gerber, Hilario Isola, Matteo Norzi, Ian Law. The impresent was not conceived as an illustration of the exhibition, but rather as an extended commentary on its incompletedness. Its pretext and structuring was The Imprint by Marie Lund and Nina Beier. The publication groups works that could not be included in the exhibition.
