We are excited to announce the next edition of Zefir7, revolving around the design for currencies. During this evening, François Girard-Meunier and Rudy Guedj will discuss the process of designing a proposal for the euro banknotes currently still in the running. Next to that, Koos Breen will reflect on the process of designing coinage. Both mediums are heavily charged with cultural and economic interests. So how does the briefing direct and limit the design process, and how do the technical and counterfeiting aspects influence the designing of currencies?
We hope to see you there!
