The memorial titled Remember Our United Beginning will stand on the Lange Voorhout in the heart of the governmental centre. This will give the city a permanent location where the enslaved people of transatlantic slavery can be remembered and honoured.

Stroom Den Haag is proud to have contributed to the realisation of the monument from our role as artistic advisor.
