The Architecture Day 2008: Architecture and Politics

The Architecture Day Foundation The Hague, in collaboration with BNA Kring Haaglanden, The Municipality of The Hague, HaAC, and Stroom Den Haag, is organizing the annual Architecture Day in The Hague. This year's theme is "Architecture and Politics".
Stroom is contributing to the 2008 Architecture Day with the program: WE RULE THIS CITY!, featuring a guide exploring the relationship between power and architecture in The Hague, a tour along political backrooms, and a politically themed debate game. In addition, throughout the city, City Knights will appear near various buildings to ask visitors for their opinions on the new The Hague.
Program (Saturday, 21 June 2008):
10:30 – 12:00 Backroom Tour led by Hans Andringa, departure from Nieuwspoort (Lange Poten 10)
11:00 – 12:30 We Rule This City! Tour led by Marcel Teunissen, departure from the City Hall Visitor Center (Spui)
13:30 – 15:00 Backroom Tour led by Hans Andringa, departure from Nieuwspoort (Lange Poten 10)
14:00 – 15:30 We Rule This City! Tour led by Marcel Teunissen, departure from the City Hall Visitor Center (Spui)
16:00 – 17:30 Game & Politics Café hosted by Leo van Loon & Hans Venhuizen, in the café of the Shoot Me Film Festival (Prinsegracht 8)
