Rayke Verhoeven

Bougainville en De Uitgewaaierde Film

Datum: 3 November - 4 July 2011

In the world of Rayke Verhoeven (1964) everything is connected. The making of her film 'Bougainville' was influenced very much by the people behind and in front of the camera. The individual work of the people who worked on the film is closely connected to the end product. In the exhibition space on the Toussaintkade 'Bougainville' was shown as an 'extended film'. Both before and after watching the film, the audience was invited to enter special spaces featuring a.o.. films, installations and photographs by Miriam Kruishoop, Maureen Prins, Esther van Waalwijk, Iris Dijke, Marieke van der Lippe and Han Hoezen. The exhibition space also housed a small cafe where lunch was served on Sundays.
