Femmy Otten – And Life Is Over There
Unveiling: Saturday, 21 October, 2017,17:15 hrs
Ahead of Museumnacht, Stroom Den Haag unveiled And Life Is Over There, a new sculpture by Femmy Otten. It is part of The Sculpture Gallery, a public art route featuring 40 sculptures through the city center. This is her first bronze sculpture in a public space. In this totem-like work, masculine and feminine elements merge, bringing together various visual cultures. In its serenity and vulnerability, it also makes a powerful statement for freedom of thought.
