Incoming documents 2004

Date: 21 April – 29 May, 2004

For the biennial presentation INGEKOMEN STUKKEN ("Incoming Documents"), Stroom and SKOR (Foundation for Art and Public Space, Amsterdam) invited artists and designers to submit documentation for review if they felt that their way of working was engaged with the public space. The hundreds of submissions became part of a large public viewing, with all documentation folders displayed in alphabetical order on dozens of rows of exam tables. For interested parties and potential commissioners, this presentation served as a rich source of up-to-date information. The artists themselves had the opportunity to see what their colleagues were doing and how they presented their work.

With Ingekomen Stukken, Stroom marked its farewell to the exhibition space at Spui.
