Barney de Krijger

The installation by Barney de Krijger (1943) consisted of various elements that, when combined, defied straightforward interpretation. The suggestion of decaying industry, combined with synthetic boulders, a section of parquet flooring, and loose drawn sheets, turned the presentation into an enigmatic whole.
