Installation by Eike Dingler and Ludwig Übele
Currently, there are 6.5 billion people on our planet. While you stand here waiting, they are eating, marrying, sleeping, smoking, killing, watching television, falling in love, driving cars, or stealing cars. It’s hard to imagine everything that is happening around the world at the same time. This sound installation gives an idea of what is going on at this very moment on Earth. Each ‘beat’ represents a specific event, such as the birth of a child. Of the thousands of things happening simultaneously, we present only a small selection of the unimaginable.

Edgar Walthert: Your Point of View
The installation Your Point of View exposes the manipulative properties of diagrams. From a specific viewpoint, a particular perspective of the model is shown, thus delivering a different statistical message. It becomes clear that diagrams cannot be blindly trusted, as numbers and statistics can be interpreted and manipulated in various ways by data formulators. It is always better to use multiple viewpoints to gain a deeper understanding of an object or event.
