Series of three publications that were released during the period running up to Skulptur Projekte 2017 (June 10–October 1), curated by Kasper König. The first issue Out of Body was available as a supplement in frieze d/e until June 10, 2016. The series was followed by two further issues: Out of Time, published in autumn 2016, and Out of Place, to be published in spring 2017. As independent publications, Out of Body, Out of Time and Out of Place each explored a different basic parameter concerning how sculpture and projects in public space are experienced—body, time and place. The magazines incorporated not only essays and texts by international authors but also topics generated by events organized in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Münster.
