Circles of Focus: Open call for participants Community of Practice
Stroom Den Haag is looking for people who want to participate in a temporary learning workshop, the Community of Practice, in concurrence with the project Circles of Focus. The CoP consists of a group of people who share a common interest or passion, but do not necessarily have the same education, background or experience. During their participation the CoP members will share knowledge with each other, with professionals and with artists connected to Stroom.Circles of Focus is a research project by Christine Borland and Brody Condon. During their residency at Stroom in September and October 2016 the artists will continue their research, which will result in an exhibition - Circles of Focus: The Fall Experiment - and a public program starting 15 October 2016. For a period of three weeks, between 21 September and 10 October 2016, the Community of Practice will meet up to 3 times a week. During these sessions the group will share knowledge, with each other and with the artists, will participate in two masterclasses, will go on an excursion and will develop their own contribution to the program.

Applications should be accompanied by a cv and a short motivation. The deadline for applications is 5 September 2016. Participation in this project is free.
