Welcome to Fusedspace Database

Welcome to Fusedspace Database is a follow-up of the 2004 internet competition ‘Fusedspace'. People worldwide were invited to submit ideas for innovative applications of information and communications technology in the public domain. With 308 entries from all over the world, one can easily say that Fusedspace has been a great success. Despite this success the new information generated by Fusedspace only reached a limited audience. It is for this reason that Stroom Den Haag decided to organize a presentation aimed at a larger audience under the title Welcome to Fusedspace Database. All entries to the competition were presented and made accessible; visitors were invited to follow special ‘trails' fine-tuned to each individual's interest and expertise.

The presentation Welcome to Fusedspace Database was designed by: Team Science Fiction (Dan Michaelson, Tamara Maletic, Min Choi, Sulki Choi) under the auspices of the Jan van Eyck Academie Maastricht.

Fusedspace is an initiative of Stroom Den Haag in cooperation with SKOR Foundation for Art and Public Space, Premsela Dutch design foundation and Informatiewerkplaats Den Haag.
