What would the world of internet look like if everything we see and do on the screen is turned into a physical experience? Through playful multimedia installations Majda Vidakovic creates visual representations of online activities like ‘searching', ‘sharing' and ‘liking', and confronts us with the tangible, physical results of our digital lives.

Majda Vidakovic graduated from the KABK (Royal Academy of Art) The Hague in 2015 with the project Did you mean: anything else, for which the Google images search engine was presented as a kind of bookcase with the images placed inside (as 3D printed objects). Since then her Google obsession continued. All the primary colors she saw around her, she associated it with the blue-red-yellow-green Google logo. This inspired her to visualize the Google environment in an alternative way: as a painter's palette. In the follow-up project Did you mean: anything else - part II the search results come to life in a cocktail of primary colours and shapes. This brings up memories of our childhood and turns the project into a kind of playground for everyone.
