Stroom School: There, I Fixed It

Stroom School is the umbrella term for the side program that Stroom organizes coinciding with exhibitions. In the Stroom School issues are highlighted and deepened in another way than in the exhibitions. The Stroom School activities are free and open to everyone.
 
Sundays at 3 pm: free guided tours

Special external guests and staff members of Stroom will give their personal interpretation of the exhibition. During the tours there is an opportunity for exchange and discussion. The guides are: Francien van Westrenen (20 March); gerlach en koop (27 March); Maria Barnas (3 April, cancelled due to illness); Ernie Mellegers (10 April); Gavin Wade (17 April); Arne Hendriks (8 May), Arno van Roosmalen (15 May).

Dumpster diving bike trip of The Hague, led by Robin of casarobino. After actively collecting the food, we will collectively cook and eat a meal at Stroom. With videos and ample time for discussion.

English speaking tour by the director of Eastside Projects, Birmingham. After the tour, Gavin Wade will give a presentation of the Upcycling manifesto entitled 'Upcycle this Text' that was commissioned to write by Stroom Den Haag.

Launch Time/Bank and symposium

The Dutch branch of the e-flux Time/Bank opens at Stroom Den Haag. We mark this occasion with a symposium on value creation, alternative economies and financing in the art world. Speakers include Julieta Aranda and Anton Vidokle, Sue Ball, Mark Fisher and Kilian Wawoe.
