The Embassy of the North Sea organizes three sessions at Stroom
Den Haag. The goal of the Embassy is threefold: to investigate the
relationship between man and the sea; to make a political plea on behalf
of the North Sea ecosystem, and to give the Embassy of the North Sea a
physical presence in the centre of The Hague.
During this second, public session participants will formulate motions on behalf of life in and around the
North Sea, for example on behalf of
Doggersbank, Future Generations of Mankind, the Porpoise, or the Alga.
The audience will also participate and contribute to the Plea that will
be presented in The Hague and handed over to the House of
Representatives (De Tweede Kamer) on 29 June 2018. This session (16:00 -
19:00 hrs) is followed by a communal dinner until 20:00 hrs.
