The twelve weeks of Expanded Performance come to a close with a festive event featuring a.o. guided tour by Adrien Tirtiaux along The Great Cut; and premiere of The One Minutes films made during The City School; performances by Dynamics-Of-Performance (The Belgian Job) and by students of the KABK (department ArtScience); and results of an experiment with audience participation by Judith Schoneveld of Zeebelt. And a closing drinks!

PROGRAM

- Guided tours by a.o. Adrien Tirtiaux. For more than 3 months, his sculpture The Great Cut has been growing through the Stroom building. This afternoon the sculpture is finally finished and visitors are taken on a tour to see the completed structure. >> read more

- During the run of Expanded Performance Judith Schoneveld of Zeebelt guided different groups of people through the exhibition and engaged in discussion with them. Snippets from these discussions and dialogues were edited into an audio track that will be aired in the bathroom stalls of Stroom.

- Première of The One Minutes made during The City School, a performance event that took place on December 8, with reenactments of both recent and historical performances by e.g. Francis Alÿs and Vito Acconci. These actions were filmed and edited into one minute long videos, that will be shown on different locations in the Stroom building. >> read more

- Performances by students of the KABK (Royal Academy of Art The Hague, the department Artscience) : Surplus People by Gaby Felten; Can I leave the table? by Charlotte 't Hart and Ben Terwel; and Approximation by Ludmila Rodrigues. >> read more

- Dynamics of Performance - The Belgian Job
Dynamics-Of-Performance are excited to announce a new work that aims to steal a show taking place in the heart of Belgium and relay it live to Stroom Den Haag. This delicate operation is so secret that the full details cannot be disclosed until the afternoon of the event. Attendance is a MUST if you are to fully appreciate this unusual occurrence. >> read more
