The British curator and critic Rebecca Gordon- Nesbitt, who in 1998 together with Maria Lind and Hans Ulrich Obrist started salon3 in London and recently published about the social dimension of artist-run spaces, shall guide a discussion on the local art climate and its international context. How can we describe local art climates? What factors shape it and can policy influence this? And what is the relationship between the local and the international? The discussion will take place in the library of Stroom. Due to the limited amount of seats available, this session is by invitation only.
