Filmhuis Den Haag and Stroom Den Haag present United We Resist: two movie matinees at Filmhuis Den Haag dedicated to the topics of self-organizing systems, the politics of the collective and the elimination or disappearance of the individual. Highly topical in the context of the current affairs around NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and the protests in countries like Brazil and Turkey.
This first afternoon the follwing documentary will be shown:

A series of three documentaries about the way we have been colonized by the machines we built ourselves. Curtis shows the emergence of self-organizing systems and the relationship to our faith in computers. The titles of the episodes are:
