Call for entries: Kinofest 2010Kinofest, a digital film festival in Romania, has the explicit goal of promoting young filmmakers, artists and their work and to cultivate the interest in and promote the arts and media culture among the general public throught independent film, video and new media making. Every filmmaker or animator, whether professional, student or amateur, can submit as many works as she/he likes. There is no submission fee.
Categories for Kinofest 2010 are: Animation, Micromovie (90seconds maximum), Fiction (20 minutes maximum).

Satellietgroep has been invited to participate in the ART PIE Istanbul 2010, an international art fair for artist run initiatives. Satellietgroep proposes to present interesting (both conceptual and documentary) works and developments from The Netherlands and seeks projects about Istanbul and Turkey: what developments take place and in what way do architects, urbanists, designers, writers and artists reflect on the cultural meaning of the sea and coast?

Call for applications: Atlantic Center 2011 Master Artists-in-Residence program
Since 1982, Atlantic Center's residency program in Florida (USA) has provided artists from all artistic disciplines with spaces to live, work, and collaborate during three-week residencies. Each residency session includes three master artists of different disciplines. The master artists each personally select a group of associates - talented, emerging and midcareer artists - through this application process administered by ACA.

Szpilman Award 2010: Call for applications
The Szpilman Award is awarded annually to works that exist only for a moment or a short period of time. The purpose of the award is to promote such works whose forms consist of ephemeral situations. The prize winner receives the Jackpot Stipendium. This scholarship consists of three parts: A challenge cup, 10 days of accommodation in Cimochowizna (Poland), and a sum of money in cash. The amount of money is dynamic. Szpilman is raising money parallel to the competition.
Everyone can apply for the Szpilman Award. Both individuals and groups of persons are free to apply. The work must have been realized between October 1, 2009, and September 30, 2010.

University College Ghent - Faculty of Fine Arts (KASK): Call for Applications English Master Program
In the master's year, KASK offers students moving on from bachelor's program in visual and audiovisual arts a chance to grow as artists or designers. Giving your artistic process further direction and substance is central. Students who have completed the three-year bachelor's program are invited to complete their own master's project. The substance of this artistic master's project is embedded in a framework of extensive possibilities for reflection, research and consultation. In the master's program, the opportunity to make artistic choices within a solid supporting framework is strongly emphasized. The master's programs of KASK include: Master of Visual Arts, Master of Audiovisual Arts.

Jan van Eyck Academie
Call for applications: Fine Art and Design
The Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht (NL) is an institute for research and production where artists, designers and theoreticians work alongside each other. The JVE has positions available in the Fine Art and Design Departments for the next academic year, starting on 1 January 2011. Artists are invited to submit proposals for individual research projects; designers can apply for one of the projects formulated by the department.

Open call for submissions to a public art competition in the Berlin Underground Train Network for 2011
Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst (NGBK) in Berlin is looking for situation specific and/or participatory ideas, visions, experiments and interventions which address the future meaning of 'public' in Berlin's public Underground Network. They can range from being short, interventionistic artistic reactions to specific occurrences on the Underground to being long term collaborations aimed at creating sustainable relationships to Underground staff and/or users over a number of years. A total budget of 30.000 Euro for artist's fees, production, travel and accommodation is available for a maximum of four projects to be realised from May to December 2011. Artists or collaborative groups of artists and non-artists are invited to take part in this call for submissions.

INTERNATIONAL ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE
The Italian Cultural Association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art), in collaboration with Arte Laguna, organizes the Fifth International Art Prize 'Arte Laguna', aimed to the contemporary art promotion and valorization. The Prize is organized with the patronage of, among others, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Veneto Region, the European Institute of Design. The Prize offers: money prizes; the organization of an important collective exhibition in the Arsenale of Venice; many exhibition in Art Galleries/Exhibition Spaces; the possibility to stay in Art Residencies and the official Catalogue pubblication.
The Prize is divided in five sections: painting, photographic art, sculpture, videoart and performance. Participants can choose the theme of their artworks.
The Prize is open to all artists, without any limits of age, sex, nationality or other qualifications. Each artist can participate with one or two works, at one or more sections.

id11 in Delft geeft kunstenaars de mogelijkheid op_LOCATIE een site-specific werk te realiseren. id11 werkt op steeds tijdelijk beschikbare locaties en daarom op korte termijn. Kunstenaars kunnen een projectvoorstel indienen, voorzien van recente documentatie en het aanmeldingsformulier.

TIP: Teruggaaf deel energiebelasting
Culturele instellingen kunnen in aanmerking komen voor teruggaaf van een deel van de energiebelasting (EB). Deze energiebelasting betaal je aan de energieleverancier en staat vermeld op de jaarlijkse eindafrekening. De teruggaaf is 50% van de energiebelasting die de energieleverancier in rekening heeft gebracht, minus de EB-heffingskorting.
