The Ouborg Award, named after the artist Pieter Ouborg (1893-1956) from The Hague, is given every two years to an artist from The Hague whose body of work is of both national and international importance. The Ouborg Award consists of a sum of money of € 10,000, a publication published by Stroom Den Haag (this year in collaboration with Japs Sam Books) and an exhibition in Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.

On the occasion of the Ouborg Award Gemeentemuseum Den Haag presents the exhibition Christie van der Haak: Sproken / Fairy Tales. More information will follow soon.
