Time/Bank
NEW TIMEBANK WEBSITE: timebank.cc
In May 2011 Stroom Den Haag started the Dutch branch of the e-flux Time/Bank in the context of her 'Upcycling' program. This initiative of the artists Julieta Aranda and Anton Vidokle grew in The Netherlands to a considerable community of users and organizations that accepted time/bank Hours as a means of exchange. The Time/Bank is recognized by the press and financial organizations as an alternative economic platform initiated by the arts but with a clear impact beyond the cultural field. In 2013 Stroom helped Timebank.cc to become an autonomous organization and keeps on facilitating its service desk in The Hague.
Timebank.cc Service Desk
Location: Stroom Den Haag, Hogewal 1-9, The Hague
Open: Wed - Sun, 12- 5 pm
