In concurrence with his presentation How To Live Together, Radius at Stroom Den Haag the artist Christian Nyampeta will engage with the public in a reeanactment of the trial of the ‘Damschreeuwer'. The performance will take place at ProDemos in The Hague.

Some background information: During the World War II commemoration ceremony on the Dam square in Amsterdam  in 2010 Gennaro P. caused a stampede by crying out loud during the 2 minutes of silence.

On the Facebookpagina Damschreeuwer moet vrij (Free the Damschreeuwer) created in May 2010, we can read the following accusation:
'1 alcohol induced shout during 2 minutes of silence = 100 days  of detention in The Kingdom of The Netherlands In the year 2010. This assault on our civil liberties by a panic-stricken crowd,  the authorities and the royal family brings down our constitutional state'.

During the reenactment at ProDemos the trial of the Damschreeuwer will be used to discuss topics like democracy and constitutional state, the crowd and the individual, remembrance and forgetting, and simulation and reality.
