Part of Stroom School Display Show

In this illustrated lecture 'Objections, Mischaracterized and Calling for Speculation' the Belgian artist Koenraad Dedobbeleer explores the historical, institutional and incidental forces that determine the ways in which art is displayed. Dedobbeleer follows an informal, narrative path through examples from his personal archive, describing the complex personalities of plinths, frames, floors, and walls, and other support systems.
