From 27 June thru 1 July 2016 Stroom Den Haag hosts the 10th edition of the Invest Week. Stroom organizes the Invest Week as an extra incentive for the developement of a group of young artists who were awarded the PRO Invest grant in 2015. The intent is to broaden the visibility of artists from The Hague through future exhibitions, presentations and exchange programs. Ten international curators, artists and critics will visit the studios of the participating Invest artists and will also be introduced to various galleries, institutes and art initiatives in The Hague.

On Wednesday 29 June there is a public program where the artists and curators will talk about their ideas, ideals and artistic and curatorial practice in front of a live audience. The discussion will be moderated by Saskia van Stein (director Bureau Europa).

Leading up to the Invest Week 2016 platform Jegens & Tevens, in collaboration with Stroom Den Haag, publishes weekly interviews with the participating artists and curators.
