Ondertussen: Topp & Dubio
The launch of an artist book
The launch of the book 'All your favourite projects' on 14 October 2011 at Gemak (The Hague).
29 October 2011 - 8 January 2012
Location: Hogewal 1-9, The Hague
Open: Monday-Friday: 11 am-5 pm; Saturday-Sunday: 12 noon-5 pm
In their publication 'All your favourite projects' the artists Topp & Dubio give a visual overview of the projects they realized in 2007 in The Hague and Kaliningrad (Russia), entitled ‘Art & Tennis Club of Kaliningrad'. The publication is an attempt to put down in print a series of temporary art projects with a heavy emphasis on audience participation and interaction.
For the official launch of the book they created a special event by literally shooting the publication into the air by means of a cannon made of cardboard. The audience was invited to take pictures of this happening and to submit them for a special photo installation. In addition the artist Joep Neefjes/ Loodwicks Press Images (also one of the participants in the book) was invited to make a personal report of the happening. The results are part of this Ondertussen presentation.
The Topp & Dubio publication was made possible in part by a Stroom PRO-Art projects subsidy.

Ondertussen
The former reception area of Stroom has been converted into a small
exhibition space. On a regular basis there are presentations of artists
who have received a subsidy in the categories Stroom PRO- and
SPOT-grants. The informal exhibitions and presentations are intended to
illustrate the diversity of the Stroom grant system. The program in the
space is called Ondertussen (Meanwhile).
